This presentation will focus on the unique engineering challenges faced on the Notre Dame Crossroads project, and the innovative ways that the design and construction team approached them, Discussion will include the unique features of the project and the problem solving techniques that were used from the early stages of project right up to substantial completion.

Peter Heeringa joined SDI in 2013 after practicing structural engineering in the Washington, DC area for four years. He received his BSE and MSE in structural engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor prior to moving to DC. Currently he is a Principle at SDI where they specialize in design of athletics, higher education, commercial, and residential structures.
